As a writer, this semester I have evolved due to the many writings that I’ve had to do. I’m not usually a person big on writing because it seems as if there are so many rules and things that seems unnecessary to me. I have a new appreciation for pre-writing, up until this semester I felt that writing things down before you get to the rough draft was pointless. I get it now, it allows you to just write things down in any order or free flow and then you can reflect on what you wrote and then start the rough draft. Now don’t get me wrong, I probably will never be much of a writer because my hand cramps when I write or type too long; but I do have a new found respect and appreciation for it. As a person, this class has actually helped me decide on what I actually want to do when I graduate, so I have changed my major from business to nursing. I want to help people in any way that I can, at first psychology I thought would be my route, then business, but I feel that I would probably fit best in the medical field as a nurse.
